CAMERA KITS
Every truck pulling freight for ATS should have an emergency camera kit as part of their equipment. Camera kits can be picked up, free of charge, at the shop in Gary, Indiana; the ATS/Brewton terminal in Winfield, Louisiana and the Claims Department in St. Cloud. If you do not currently have a camera kit in your truck, please stop by one of the above locations to pick one up.

We hope you will never be involved in an accident or cargo claim, but if you are, it is important that pictures be taken of the damage and/or accident scene to protect yourself and ATS. The cameras in these camera kits are issued for that purpose. The following pictures should be taken:

      - position of vehicles at the accident scene
      - all sides of the other vehicle to document old and new damage
      - all vehicles involved, especially if contact is alleged
      - general roadway and intersections, direction of vehicles, skid marks, etc.
      - injured parties
      - in the case of a cargo claim, please take pictures of all damaged freight whether          loading or unloading

Cameras with accident or claims pictures should be forwarded to the claims department in St. Cloud in your settlement packets. Please be sure to note your name, unit number and date of the occurrence on the outside of the camera.

Remember that accidents should be reported immediately!
